Consecutive Interpreting:Consecutive interpreting is when client A speaks and the interpreter interprets what has been said for client B who then replies. The interpreter then relays that response back to client A and so on. This type of interpreting is suitable for various types of meetings and contexts.Simultaneous Interpreting:This type of interpreting is used when an individual is speaking to a group, for example at conferences, public meetings or in a courtroom. Simultaneous interpreting may also be used in a one to one situation when time is a factor.Sight Translation:On many of our interpreting assignments we have been asked to “sight translate” information sheets, leaflets, forms, letters and other documents for our clients. This has required on the spot fluency, accuracy, speed and clarity from our interpreters. Please contact us to receive more information. |
